Question HgCL2 Hydrophil?

Hi,

I got about 5 g of HgCl2 in a small vial stored at RT. it sems to get stickier from time to time. Is It a hydrophil substance? Whats the best way to store small ammounts (I got about 80 g vacuum sealed)?

All chemicals have SDS and should be stored properly - mercury and its salts etc are most toxic shit in lab you can work with excluding cynaides.

so.. onlky take out what I need for the batch, reseal (vakkum) and store, cold, dark?
