Agents of the Mossos d'Esquadra of the Generalitat of Catalonia arrested in the last hours three individuals in the middle of 'passing’ a significant amount of hashish in the town of Vilamalla, near Figueres, in the province of Girona.
The events occurred when the agents were able to witness the precise moment in which the suspects were taking two large bales of hashish out of a tourist and loading them into a truck. The Mossos immediately acted, arresting the perpetrators red-handed. In both bales, 718 packages of hashish with a weight slightly over 70 kilos and a value on the illicit market of about 130,000 euros were accumulated.
