Has anyone Here tried reducing p2np to Amphetamine electrochemically? I once ready something about that somewhere else but cant seem to find it again. In Theorie it should Work and it would avoid hard to get and toxic chemicals. What would be a good solvent for that and what voltage would be needed?

i found a method where you leave the benzaldehyde and nitroethan solution with methylamin as catalyst in a dark place for 2 weeks and they reported higher yields, has anyone here tryed that before or knows if this could work?
