The National Police arrested 26 people in 25 searches and seized 19 kilos of cocaine, significant amounts of hashish and marijuana and 365,000 euros in cash
26 people arrested, mostly in Albacete, but also in Alicante and Badajoz, in 25 house searches, is the final balance of a large anti-drug operation carried out by the National Police Corps with epicenter in the eastern town of Castilla la Mancha (Spain). The agents seized significant quantities of drugs, weapons and cash, and managed to put an end to a criminal structure that dominated the clandestine narcotics market in the region. This is the largest operation in the area after the one developed in November 2023.

The investigations began based on complaints from citizens about the points of sale that a perfectly structured family clan had, with differentiated roles for the bosses, their *****ren, their wives and even their nephews, each of them carrying out tasks aimed at keeping the drug sales business going strong.
After the network was identified, the police detected a pass of half a kilo of cocaine coming from Alicante in a car driven by a 64-year-old citizen with no previous record. As a result, the final phase of the operation was carried out, with searches that allowed the discovery of more than 19 kilos of cocaine, significant amounts of hashish and marijuana, a pistol, 15 precision scales and 365,000 euros in cash as a result of the investigated activity, all of them sufficient evidence to present the suspects to the judicial authority
