Authorities from Morocco's National Directorate General of Security (DGSN) have located and seized an impressive cache of hashish in the Atlantic city of Safi. In total, 8,112 kilos were seized at the local port facility, waiting to go out to sea.
Local authorities of Safi were the ones who executed the operation together with Territorial Surveillance troops. The intention of the narcos would be to get the drugs out through small boats that in turn would load the cache on larger boats. It would take at least two large narcolanchas or a fishing boat or a tugboat to transport the seized amount, which is a serious blow to the drug mafias operating in the region.
