Question Can i use DPD’s package machine for anonymous purchases

I saw some vendors are delivering via DPD and I was wondering can it be shipped to the DPD machine in my city and is it safe, if you have experience using the service.

And can it be still tracked to me somehow if i use all safety measures

I'm not familiar with those machines but if they require photo ID I'd avoid, generally any postage machine for pickup/dispatch will also have cameras and a log of any shipments so, conceal your face and if it requires names or an ID you're going to have to obtain fake ones.

Face recognition is bigger problem.

I dont think those machines would have face scanners on them so i mean realistically couldnt you just conceal your face? but maybe they do have some sort of face scanning verification.

what is marketprice of such face recognition camera today? is it still to expensive to install in each machine?

Probably not, lots of apps have face verification when you input an ID, it could be set up on a deposit box fairly easily with pretty low grade computing power, they generally process the images in the cloud rather than on the actual device, and i imagine in the future AI will change how it works and make it harder to fool.

DPD machines in different countries are different as well.
Here we have the machine with one front camera that may be face-recognition, and 2-3 side-cameras.
In winter time it is OK: I know how to "adjust" my face. But in summer time it is more difficult.

Most vendors do not offer any kind of refund or reship if you provide an address of PO box or these DPD or any other courier's postal station. The customs of these couriers also tend to be more careful when handling such parcels as they know what\s up.
I also know IRL cases when the guy went to pick up his big bag of mephedrone and got politely walked by the hand by two huge plain clothes officers.
